CALL FOR RESEARCH PARTICIPANTS
Calling actors, performers, or theatre artists (ages 18+) to participate in a Research Study regarding the relationship of Butoh Dance and Viewpoints Analysis in Actor Training. The study will take place on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, 10:00am – 12:00pm at Dell’Arte International in Blue Lake, California. As part of the study, participants will receive a FREE 1-hour lesson in Butoh Dance / physical theatre led by principle investigator and practicing physical theatre artist, Jordan Rosin.
There is no cost to participate in this study and no financial compensation for participants.
Eligibility
- Participants must be 18 years of age, or older on Tuesday, June 18.
- Participants must be able to read/write English.
- Participants must be available for the entire duration of the study on Tuesday, June 18, 10:00am – 12:00pm.
- Participants should self-identify as an actor, performer, or theatre artist, though no particular educational background or degree of formal training is required.
- No previous experience with either Viewpoints or Butoh Dance is necessary.
