Jordan’s History with Mask-Making
Jordan Rosin has been making paper mâché masks in the Commedia Dell’Arte style since 2009 when he first learned from Stephen Cross at Syracuse University. Through Dell’Arte International in 2019, he began learning Balinese traditional wooden mask-carving techniques with master teachers in the village of Ubud. Jordan has been honored to study with master mask-makers Bruce Mars, Nyoman Setiawan, Ida Bagus Anom, and Newman. He is now currently learning to work with leather.
